PRUNING AND TRAINING CLIMBING ROSES (ツルバラの剪定誘引)

We pruned and trained climbing roses on brick wall and iron arches
last weekend and this weekend.

先週末と今週末でレンガ塀とアーチのツルバラの
剪定、誘引をしました.　

Rosa 'Pierre de Ronsard' and 'Angela' on iron arches at the top and bottom of the central sleeper steps were pruned and trained .
The iron arbour on which Rosa 'Snow Goose' is trained is also seen.

中央の枕木の階段の上としたにあるアーチのツルバラ、

ピエールドロンサールとアンジェラの剪定誘引をしました。

スノーグースを誘引したアイアンのドーム状アーチも見えます. 

Seven varieties of Roses are grown at the brick wall.  

レンガ塀には7種類のツルバラがあります. 

'Constance spry' (left) and 'Gertrude Jekyll' (right)

on the left part of brick wall. 

レンガ塀の左側では

コンスタンススプライ（左）とガートルードジェキル（右）

'Teasing Georgia' (left), 'Pat Austin' (middle) 

and ' Crown Princess Margareta' (right)

on the right of brick wall. 

レンガ塀の右側では

ティージングジョージア（左）、パットオースチン（中央）

そしてクラウンプリンセスマルガリータ（右）

'François Juranville’ 

over the left part of brick wall

レンガ塀の左側の上にはフランソワジュランビル

And the last one is 'Paul's Himalayan Musk’ 

over the right part of brick wall.

最後はレンガ塀の右側の上に

ポールズヒマラヤンムスク

'Mortimer Sackler’ and 'Apollo' 

were pruned and trained at the wooden white fence. 

木の白いフェンスのところでは

モーティマーサックラーとアポロ

I made a new arch using rebar for Mortimer Sackler rose. 

モーティマーサックラーのために新しいアーチを鉄筋で作りました



This afternoon, we went to the horse riding club in our neighbourhood,
and got horse manure for free.
My wife is giving all climbing and shrub roses
compost and organic fertilizer,
and mulching with horse manure.

今日の午後、近所の乗馬クラブに行き、馬糞をもらってきました.
家内が庭のすべてのバラに堆肥や有機肥料をあげて
馬糞でマルチングしていきます.
