POTAGER IN EARLY SPRING (早春のポタジェ)

Vegetables in the cold frame are growing.  Mizuna and Welsh onion in a frame and komatuna and Swiss chard in another one.  We'll thin out seedlings and eat it for breakfast.

（コールドフレームの中の野菜が育ってきています。ひとつにはミズナとネギ、もう一つにはコマツナとスイス・チャード。間引きして朝食に食べてみよう。）

In this pentagonal bed, we planted asparagus and Oriental poppy.

（この五角形の区画にはアスパラガスとオリエンタル・ポピーを植えています。）

And in another pentagonal bed, asparagus and Silene pendula were planted.

On a sunny early spring day, the kitchen garden is calm and it has a healing effect for me.
I really love this season in which new green leaves grow and plants prepare to bloom.

（天気の良い早春の日には菜園は穏やかで、私は癒されます。新緑が育ち植物が花を咲かせる準備をするこの季節が私は本当に好きです。）

This is a standard Rosa 'Mary Rose'.  I pruned it last weekend.

（これはスタンダード仕立てのバラ「メアリー・ローズ」です。先週末剪定しました。）

The rising sun is awaking the kitchen garden.
